My journey to starting law school in 2025
In 2022, I lived in a peaceful apartment in the suburbs of CA until a noisy neighbor moved in upstairs. The constant noise affected my sleep and mental health due to my ASD, PTSD, and anxiety. Despite my attempts to seek help from lawyers and law enforcement, I found no resources for my situation. This led me to realize the lack of support for not only my issues but also for marginalized families facing discrimination. After days of focused lightwork, I felt a strong intuition to pursue a career in law. I was certain this was my calling. I was ready to fight for human rights, drawing strength from stories of civil rights leaders and my Irish American heritage.
In 2023, I enrolled in an online school in pursuit of completing my bachelor's degree at the University of Phoenix. Choosing online studies is a strategic choice due to my ASD and aided the financial need to continue working in engineering full-time. By 2024, I had become a member of the NSLS, and experience training and interaction with world leaders during the “Foundation of Leadership” process. At the SNTs, I received valuable feedback on balancing work and life due to my health barriers. I also planned to prepare for the bar exam and determined my area of legal expertise. Additionally, I stayed updated on civil rights issues across the USA.
My SMART goal is to provide service for my community by helping to remedy the lack of resources and oversight, tilting the balance of law, order, and justice toward the good side, by 2029.
After all, you only live on earth once, so it's important to make it count!
